Parent Support Organizations
Riverwood is fortunate to have four active parent support organizations that we refer to as 'Boosters.'
Please find information below (listed alphabetically) on what each one does and how to support it.
Each of these organizations relies on financial and volunteer support from parents.
BOB - The Band and Orchestra Boosters support our Band and Orchestra students through service advocacy and fundraising. This collective program is comprised of concert groups at every level – from picking up an instrument for the first time to future professional musicians – and includes Concert Bands and Orchestras, Marching Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, Jazz Ensemble, School Musical Pit Band, and Orchestral Chamber Ensembles. We have a place for anyone who has ever wanted to play an instrument and perform in front of an audience. Join us by signing up to volunteer or making a donation to expand our impact and programs. PABA - The Performing Arts Booster Association PABA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and friends supporting Riverwood's Chorus and Drama programs. Through memberships, donations, fundraisers, and volunteer support, PABA helps fund music, scripts, sets, costumes, lighting, sound, student scholarships, workshops, master classes, meals for cast and crew, and opportunities like ThesCon and All-State Chorus. PABA also helps promote productions and supports day-of box office operations. PTSA - Parent Teacher Student Association The Riverwood Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) brings together parents, teachers, students, and staff who share one goal: making the Riverwood experience the best it can be for every Raider. Through volunteering, community-building, fundraising, and creative support, the PTSA helps strengthen the connections that make Riverwood such a strong community. Whether you have a few hours to volunteer, an idea to share, or simply want to support our students through membership, there is a place for you. With a variety of committees, events, and activities, there are plenty of ways to get involved—and every level of participation makes a difference.

RAA - Riverwood Athletic Association The Riverwood Athletic Association (RAA) is dedicated to raising funds for the benefit of ALL Riverwood Raider sports teams and athletic facilities. Through the
collective support of membership dues, corporate sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives, the RAA drives essential improvements and helps ensure the safety, quality,and readiness of our athletic spaces. Recent contributions include the new athlete weight room, stadium scoreboard, coach incentives, NFHS live video programs, team subscriptions for TeamSnap and Hudl as well as additional equipment and supplies for our two Emory Athletic Trainers.
