Change of School Assignment (New November, 2024)
The application window for the Change of School Assignment (COSA) opened on December 1, 2025, and closes on January 9, 2026 for the 2026-2027 School Year. The COSA policy went into effect in August and allows additional flexibility for parents and district employees in selecting a school for their student. It also incorporates the application process for schools offering a magnet program or magnet curricular focus, which at Riverwood is the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program (Middle Years through tenth grade and Diploma for eleventh and twelfth grades).
